Terms of service
The agreement under which Wake on WAN is provided.
1. Scope
These Terms govern use of Wake on WAN (the “Service”) provided at wakeonwan.com. By creating an account, you accept these Terms.
2. Contract conclusion
A contract is concluded upon account registration. The Service is currently in early access; features and stability are subject to change.
3. Service description
Wake on WAN provides remote boot-on-LAN orchestration: a control plane, an agent binary for your network, scheduled wakes, and team workspaces. No uptime SLA is offered during early access.
4. User obligations
You warrant that you are authorised to send wake-on-LAN packets to each device you register. You agree not to abuse the control plane, not to interfere with other tenants, and to comply with applicable law.
5. Fees
Paid plans are billed through Stripe as displayed at checkout. Prices include applicable VAT where indicated. Overages and upgrades take effect from the next billing period.
6. Liability
We are liable without limitation for damages caused by intent or gross negligence, for damages arising from injury to life, body, or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For ordinary negligence we are liable only for breach of material contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.
7. Termination
You may terminate at any time from your billing page. We may terminate with 30 days’ notice in text form, or immediately for material breach. Paid plans run until the end of the billing period.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced on /legal at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance.
9. Miscellaneous
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Place of jurisdiction for merchants is the operator’s seat. Should any provision be invalid, the remaining Terms remain in force.
